How to build shuffled exam sets

Paste one multiple-choice paper and get sets A, B and C with shuffled questions and options, a key per set and answer sheets.

Paste the original paperType or paste using the format shown on the page: the question on one line, then the options, with the correct one marked.
Choose how many sets and how to shuffleSet the number of sets and whether to shuffle questions, options or both. Questions that must stay put can be locked.
Review each setFlip between sets A, B and C to check them; each set's answer key is generated alongside it.
Print or exportPrint the papers and answer sheets, or export to Excel, Word and Aiken format for Moodle.

Tips

Lock options like "All of the above" so they do not move out of last place.
Print the set letter clearly at the top so you can hand them out in alternating rows.
Always keep the answer keys in a separate file from the papers.
