HOW TO USE

How to use the developer data tools

Four modes for database work: convert files to SQL, tidy JSON or SQL, generate Thai mock data and draw ER diagrams.

  1. Convert data into SQLPaste CSV or JSON, or pick an Excel file; column types are inferred and you get CREATE TABLE plus INSERT statements ready to run.
  2. Format for readabilityPaste a wall of JSON or SQL and press format to indent it, or minify when you need to embed it in code.
  3. Generate mock data for testingChoose column types — Thai names, student IDs, emails, phones, dates — set a row count and get realistic test data without touching anyone's real records.
  4. Draw an ER diagramDescribe the tables and relationships to get both a diagram and matching CREATE TABLE code — handy for chapter 3 of a project book.

Tips

  • Double-check the inferred types — student IDs should be text, not numbers, so leading zeros survive.
  • Never test with real student records — use the mock data mode instead.
  • Everything stays in the browser; nothing is uploaded.
